Jackie Severinsen for Borough Council

Jackie Severinsen is running for the unexpired seat of Colonel Everett Lucas who passed away recently.
As a 20 year resident of Eatontown, Jackie is grateful to be a part of such an amazing community.

As a councilmember I intend to be a sounding board for those who feel they do not have a voice and who feel they are underappreciated or underrepresented.

Recession has made these hard times for us all and our town government needs to recognize these hardships and take more control of spending and tax increases as to ensure our community prospers without suffering.  As leaders of the community, the powers that be should be more concerned about what the people want, more than what they feel the people need.

The residents want and dream of lower taxes, safe streets, good schools and more.

What they don’t need is disguised dramatic government spending as the means  to make this dream a reality.
Jackie was appointed this June by Councilman Mark Regan Jr, Councilman David Gindi and Councilman Meir Araman to fill the seat of Councilman Everett Lucas who suddenly passed away.
